a UX/UI designer based in Toronto, Ontario. I've spent the last few years as a Cloud Developer at BMO, and I'm now moving into UX/UI product design full-time.
One professional case study, and two personal builds that keep the design muscle active.
BMO's mobile banking app felt legacy — dense screens, a dated visual language, and none of the polish people now expect from banking apps like Wealthsimple. I redesigned it end-to-end with a cleaner, more modern interface, focused on three core flows: checking in, moving money, and understanding where you stand.
Static is a creative automotive brand I built around photography and storytelling rather than specs and reviews — spanning a gallery-first website, a checkered-flag brand mark, and a print book series pairing car photography with long-form stories.
Marigold is a vintage-style instant photobooth I designed and built from scratch for weddings and corporate events. I modeled the aluminum frame in CAD first, then fabricated it in my garage using 8020 aluminum extrusion and wood — balancing a vintage look with the durability to handle multiple guests per event, survive repeated transport, and fit the camera and printer hardware I already had.
I'm a UX/UI designer based in Toronto, Ontario, with an Honors Bachelor's in Computer Science from Sheridan College. I currently work as a Cloud Developer at BMO, building APIs on AWS — but my first real product design work happened back at Sheridan, prototyping and usability-testing a mobile app for a nonprofit client. Outside of work, I do photography, which is where a lot of my eye for composition and light actually comes from.
Design and build APIs on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3) that handle customer data across the bank, working closely with solution architects and QA.
Prototyped a mobile app for Black Mentorship Inc. in Figma and Photoshop, running usability tests and building personas and journey maps.
Built Python automation to track customer support metrics via the Salesforce API, and helped stand up VMs for customers worldwide.
